Supervision & Consulting
Let’s work together
I have worked alongside community members to develop, deliver and evaluate various psychoeducational, therapeutic and embodiment programs. I have also provided trauma informed clinical consultations, developed onboarding and clinical training programs, supported organizational strategic planning and helped to develop and operationalize trauma informed practice policies within a clinical setting. I am qualified to supervise counsellors, psychotherapists (including qualifying and registered psychotherapists), and social workers who are starting their journey into providing psychotherapy using common therapeutic modalities.
Services
-
Program Development
I offer clinical program development services including program design, development of organizational procedures, workflow manuals and training.
-
1:1 Clinical Supervision
Our work together can take the shape of basic support, supervision, didactic learning, and consulting around cases, ethics, boundaries, or general psychotherapy questions.
-
Group Consultations
Work with groups can be for a defined short period of time, or on a regular basis. I can also help teams establish trauma informed procedures to get the most out of consultation.
Approach
My approach to supervision and consultation is informed by psychodynamic psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, parts work, the neurobiology of trauma and is grounded in an anti-racist intersectional feminist perspective. I integrate many therapeutic modalities into sessions and I aim to select an approach that best suits your personality, philosophy, work setting, systemic context, skill level, and experiential history. I will primarily adopt a teaching and coaching role with novice supervises (e.g., Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying, Registered Social Workers who would like to transition to clinical work or private practice) and more of a consultant role with more experienced professionals and organizations. My goal is always to protect client welfare, improve your skills and competence, and provide professional guidance and support, so that you can reach your fullest and most enjoyable potential.
